Coastal Conferences consists of an experienced team of professionals, whose passion is people. We specialize in the organization of conferences, training, team building and corporate functions. We pride ourselves in creatively organizing these events from conceptualization to completion and follow-up.

Angela Godwin

Angela, owner and entrepreneur has built an enviable reputation for hosting and organizing both corporate events and conferences. Angela sits on the SACCI committee and thus ensures she is always abreast with the latest industry developments. For the past seven years her key focus has been and still is that of professionalism and the delivery of unparallel service.

Angela Whittle    

Angela spent 4 years studying Food Technology at Natal Tecknikon. After she received her Diploma she went onto work for Kagiso Khulani Supervision Food Services in operations and Catering Manager and managed two of their largest units.

Thereafter she spent a year traveling through Europe. On her return joined a North Coast Hotel as their Public Relations Officer and Conference Manager. After gaining very valuable experience she moved to Protea Hotels as a Sales Executive calling on all the Major Clients and various other sectors.

After two and a half years with Protea Hotels, Angela joined the Don Hotel Group, running the Durban area for a year.

In 1999 Coastal Conferences was launched by Angela and has been running as a very successful Conference Organizing Company since then.

Cara joined the Coastal Team mid-way through 2006 and has really made a huge impact on the running of the office and the Guest Houses. Cara studied Business Management which has geared her to making all the difference both with the Management of the Office and Clients.

Cara Malan
She is Currently studying Events Management through Intec and is looking at starting her B.Comm. next year. Cara has had previous industry experience in the Conference Market, she was involved in the running of the Moyeni Conference centre and Guest House in Camperdown.
